As we enter 2024, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we've had this year following some recent award wins for our cosmetic brands. It's been a year of challenges, learning, and most importantly, significant achievements. I am thrilled to share some of our key highlights.
As a judge for the Aesthetic Awards, which celebrate the very best in aesthetic medicine across a wide range of areas, I know how much work and effort goes into award submissions. In recent months we have won Best Specialist Insurance Provider at the Insurance Choice Awards, which was voted for by our customers, and ‘highly commended’ for customer service at the Safety in Beauty Awards. These accolades are testament to the hard work of the Hamilton Fraser team in providing exceptional customer service and comprehensive cover to aesthetic practitioners. A heartfelt thanks to all our customers for your continued support.
We have a history of working together with the JCCP and share the same vision of raising standards and putting safety at the heart of the sector. So, with major legislative change on the horizon, I was delighted that the JCCP chose to partner with us at our annual Aesthetic Business Conference, as well as collaborating with us to create an educational guide, ‘An update to the licensing scheme in England’. I’m also thrilled that the JCCP has decided to continue to offer free membership to practitioners who are insured with Hamilton Fraser.
We’ve never rested on our laurels since we started insuring practitioners back in 1996, and continue to raise standards in the sector as the leading provider of medical malpractice insurance in the UK.
We have made improvements to our quote and buy to enhance the experience and improve the customer journey, so that every interaction with us is seamless, while continuing to offer a wide range of tailored products to meet practitioners’ needs.
We’ve continued to share our knowledge and expertise through our own event, the Aesthetics Business Conference, which returned for its sixth year in 2023. Head over to our Content Hub to listen to our ABC special podcasts featuring expert insights from our fantastic speakers and to read our specialist interactive guides.
We’ve already been busy gearing up for 2024, and I’m particularly excited by the collaboration between Success in Aesthetic Business (SIAB) and Hamilton Fraser’s Aesthetic Business Conference (ABC). Unfolding over a 12-month period, it will offer aesthetic business support to the sector across all regions, culminating in the ABC event at the end of the year.
We have long standing partnerships with a number of other specialist organisations and insurers to make sure that we provide comprehensive cover that meets our customers’ evolving requirements. You can find more details on the partnerships page of our website. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with all our partners and collectively raising standards in the cosmetic sector.
And of course, we will carry on working closely with the JCCP following the Government’s consultation on a licensing scheme for non-surgical cosmetic procedures, and to provide practitioners with the most up to date advice and guidance through our guides and blogs, and at aesthetic events throughout 2024.
If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to take part in our annual aesthetics sector survey before it closes at the end of the year. By taking a few minutes to complete the survey, not only will you be contributing to shaping the future of the aesthetics sector, but you can also choose to be entered into our prize draw to win one of three £100 Amazon vouchers! We look forward to sharing the results with you in 2024.
Here's to another year filled with learning, growth, and success! Thank you again to all our valued customers for being part of our journey and for your continued support.
Eddie
