JCCP

The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) is a regulatory body for the non-surgical sector in England, which is a critical development for the industry and has received the support of the Department of Health and Health Education England (HEE).

Hamilton Fraser is part of its Strategic Development Group, helping to formulate the organisation’s strategy over the coming years. We have partnered with the JCCP to allow practitioners to join the JCCP at a reduced cost.

The JCCP has been established to assist members of the public who are considering or undergoing non-surgical and hair restoration surgery treatments with advice on patient safety matters and how to gain access to registers of approved practitioners.

HABIA

Hair and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA) is recognised by the Government as the Standard Setting Body (SSB) for the hair, beauty, nails, spa, well-being and aesthetic sectors. For more than thirty years, HABIA have been developing National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the UK. HABIA are a not-for-profit organisation, and work continuously to raise standards and the profile of the hair and beauty industry, through positive press and relationship building across the industry.

Our partnership with HABIA offers greater support and protection for the general and advanced beauty industry. Hamilton Fraser is therefore now able to insure the industry for general and advanced beauty treatments.*

British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN)

The BACN is the largest professional association for nurses carrying out cosmetic treatments in the UK. It operates under a strict code of conduct to ensure patient safety across all treatments undertaken by its members. Hamilton Fraser is their only insurance partner, offering medical indemnity insurance to a large proportion of its members.

The BACN has a dual role, to provide services and support to all its members and promote patient safety in non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS)

Hamilton Fraser is a gold sponsor of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery. BAHRS was founded in 1996 by twelve like-minded doctors practicing hair transplant surgery in the United Kingdom, the BAHRS is a non-profit association of professionals practicing in the British Isles with an interest in hair loss, hair restoration including transplant surgery, hair research and education.

The key purpose of BAHRS is to promote the understanding of hair restoration surgery and to communicate information relating to hair restoration surgery to members, practitioners, and other professional bodies.
