The collaboration will span events and marketing initiatives throughout 2024 and 2025.
Both Hamilton Fraser and MiA are passionate about raising standards in the aesthetics industry, particularly as menopause care and services are emerging as a key area of practice.
The key focus of the partnership will be on the profile raising industry events run by both companies: Hamilton Fraser’s seventh annual Aesthetic Business Conference (ABC), which takes place on Tuesday, 8 October 2024, at the Royal College of Physicians, London and Menopause in Aesthetics’ flagship event, which will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at The Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
MiA will be spearheading a panel at the ABC event on safeguarding, a key topic tackled at MiA 2024 which Hamilton Fraser Founder and CEO Eddie Hooker took part in and has recently published an article on.
Hamilton Fraser will be MiA's official insurance partner and will exhibit at the 2025 event. It will also sponsor the recently announced inaugural Menopause in Aesthetics industry awards, which will take place on the evening of Friday, February 7, 2025.
In addition, collaborative webinars, podcasts, newsletters, and social media marketing will be conducted throughout the year.
“Ever since I entered the aesthetics industry almost two decades ago, Hamilton Fraser has stood as a symbol of good practice.
“We are championing aesthetic clinics as menopause first responders, but we are also aware that all the interest and media hype around menopause leaves the sector wide open for unethical products and practices.
“By partnering with a trusted name like Hamilton Fraser, we want to show that we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards and ethics when it comes to menopause services and treatments, and we are looking forward to what this exciting partnership will bring.”
- MiA founder Charlotte Body
“The surge in treatments specifically aimed at alleviating menopausal symptoms marks a significant trend in the rapidly evolving sector of aesthetic medicine, so it’s vital that both practitioners and patients understand the associated insurance risks.
“As an insurance provider, it is important that we, too, keep on top of current industry trends and practices, and with the aesthetics industry moving more and more into the women’s health space, we are delighted to be partnering with Menopause in Aesthetics (MiA) to work towards supporting women in getting the right advice through the clinics they are accessing. One of the key motivations behind this is to make sure that menopause care is provided safely and ethically, especially when it comes to intimate health treatments.”
