Celebrating more than 20 years in business
We started offering insurance products in 1996 specialising in property and medical indemnity insurance. These two niches remain at the heart of everything we do. Our 20th anniversary in 2016 was an important milestone for the company as we were positioned in the top 100 independent insurance brokers in the UK.
Simple deposit protection with mydeposits
In 2007 it became a legal requirement for landlords and letting agents to protect their tenants’ deposits with a government authorised scheme. Hamilton Fraser launched mydeposits the same year and we now protect more than £1BN of deposits on behalf of landlords and lettings agents across the UK and Channel Islands.

Since 2007 Hamilton Fraser has provided this specialist protection via its government authorised schemes. We insure landlord and tenant monies held by some of the UK’s largest managing and letting agents as well as protecting tenant money on behalf of more than 150,000 landlords throughout the UK and Channel Islands.
mydeposits offers a simple deposit protection solution for landlords and letting agents via it’s insurance and custodial schemes both of which offer free and impartial dispute resolution at the end of the tenancy.
