Based in Borehamwood | 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday) | Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a sales focused individual with demonstrated experience in selling general insurance within a broker or insurer environment.  Experience in Medical Malpractice and Professional Indemnity insurance is also a must.  You will be responsible for co-managing and developing the Key Client Accounts for the Healthcare Division.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone to further their career in Healthcare Insurance.  You’ll join a rapidly growing organisation in Borehamwood with a real family feel that can offer you a vibrant working environment and industry leading training.

Some of the things you’ll get up to:

  • Work with the Key Client team to maintain and enhance existing Cosmetic Key Client relationships
  • Acquire new Key Client relationships
  • Work with the Associate Director, and the Key Client team, to drive the expansion of the existing cosmetic business sector to wider specialist surgeon focused areas
  • Develop and drive the cross and up-sell strategy of the Healthcare Division
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with insurer partners, affiliates and other appropriate third parties
  • Keep up to date with industry news and developments ensuring that your technical knowledge is kept current
  • Assist with the preparation of events and exhibitions, attending these where required (these may be at weekends)
  • Provide presentations on industry related topics, to existing and new Key Clients, as well as industry partners, throughout the year across the UK (these may be at weekends)
  • Assist with the administration and processing within the team

We’d like you to have:

  • Proven experience in selling general insurance within a broker or insurer environment
  • Proven experience in Medical Malpractice, Professional Indemnity and General insurance
  • A sales focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is always provided
  • Cert CII qualification (or working towards this), with a view to continuing your professional qualifications
  • An excellent level of written and spoken English and Mathematical skills
  • Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others
  • Strong organisational skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong IT skills particularly with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new systems and procedures
  • The ability to meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload
  • The ability to work within a team environment and to drive the development of team members where required
