Cosmetic Redress Scheme
About the Cosmetic Redress Scheme
The Cosmetic Redress Scheme is a new consumer redress scheme authorised by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute to offer redress for the cosmetic industry. The Cosmetic Redress Scheme is designed to assist all those providing cosmetic services to the public, the ability to comply with their legal requirement to sign post complaints to an authorised consumer redress scheme.
Helping practitioners face any complaint
While it is not a legal requirement to join a redress scheme, service providers are legally required to signpost their customers to a government authorised consumer redress scheme. The Cosmetic Redress Scheme is here to help practitioners to deal successfully with any complaints they may face. We offer guidance on producing a complaint procedure. We resolve complaints either through informal mediation or through making a decision on the matter. Joining the Cosmetic Redress Scheme lets your customers know that they can expect excellent customer service every step of the way.
